Which does FAFSA give out more of: Loans or Grants?

I really need to know...are most the cash people getting from them actual grants?

FAFSA is the name of the application you fill out to come up with an EFC number.  This number is used by your college to determine eligibility for federal and state and institutional financial aid.  FAFSA doesn't give out money... free or not.  

Some people qualify for grants, some for loans, some for work study, some for a combination.
