Which driver does not deserve their ride?

****In YOUR opinion.**** There is always talk of "this guy deserves a quality ride" etc. But who do you think does not deserve the ride they have. This is not a way to bash Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, etc. Like them or not, they deserve their rides, and have the stats to show for it. But for example: Jamie McMurry has one of the best teams in Roush, that same team won the 2004 championship with Kurt Busch. Now check his stats since taking it over. Does he deserve that ride? This is an opinion only question, and for the record I actually like Jamie Mac. He has done alot of charity work and deserves props for it, he was just used as an example.

Casey Mears. Only 1 win in his whole career. How many drivers with such little success get signed with one of the biggest powerhouses of all time only to lose that ride and get signed with another top team. And this time he gets to take away a proven top drivers points, team, and sponsor. The whole thing is just screwed up.

i'd have to say jmac, for the reasons you listed - although he doesn't have the exact same team kurt had - the cat in the hat finally smartened up and gave kurt's old crew chief jimmy fennig to david ragan.

I would have to agree with the Jamie Mc comment. Also Paul Menard, no offense StraightEdge Kidd, and David Gilliland would get my vote as well. As always just an opinion....not bashing anyone.

Casey Mears...sigh....I like him though. He is a good kid. Maybe change will be good for him, and he will find success with his new team.

Paul Menard has no business in a Cup ride. Good thing he has that family sponsorship money.

Kyle Petty, don't get me wrong.  I think that he is a great person. I just think that he needs to go ahead and retire. I think that Petty Enterprises better fork over some money if they expect that team to stay afloat, so to speak.

Casey Mears, he couldn't drive a Hendrick car so he'll be able to drive an RCR car?

Easy one to answer: Michael Waltrip. Other people who should lose their rides: Reed Sorenson (even in a Ganassi car, that is horrible), and Jamie McMurray---never lived up to his promise).

As for Gilliland, however...he's doing a lot for a team on a shoestring budget and only recently able to get sponsorship.

My opinion is based solely on performance.

in my humble opionion, reed sorenson, martin truex jr., casey mears, paul menard..... i have nothing agaisnt any of these drivers, but think they have way better cars than what the driver shows

in my eyes, Dario and Juan. Neither had driven cars with roofs and yet they both go straight into the highest level of that side of motorsport....Scott Speed is doing the right thing; starting off in ARCA and trucks to get experience before moving up.

Denny Hamlin, he won some races the last couple of years, now all he does is throw his team under the bus when HE has a bad day or wrecks.  And he does it on TV, not in the privacy of the shop.

i think people are a little ignorant by saying dale jr. a guy who is 3rd in points this year any ways i would say michael waltrip but he will always have a ride. Two guys Joe Nemecheck and Paul Menard

Dale Jr. Take away his last name and he wouldn't even be racing 4-bangers at his local dirt track. His last name deserves to be in Cup, not him.

not bashing him, he just needs a better ride and attitude adjustment..with all the changes in crew chiefs etc..that is what i meant,...i can feel the pain, he should have never signed with Ganassi! i do not HATE any driver and never said I hate anyone..so hopes that clears that up..sorry if it offended you cruise, not my intention
