  1. I have the Taylormade R7 425 and it's all about the sweet spot.  If I catch it on the heal or toe I only get 200 ish.  If I nail the sweet spot that turns into 280-290.  I know the R7 is capable of long drives and right now I'm practicing into a net and pausing for one second at the top of my backswing and hit the sweet spot a lot more that way.  I plan on shorting that second over time until I have one contuinuous motion.  That's a good way to practice hitting the correct spot on the head.

  2. Hit whichever one goes straighter and longer for you.  Take them both to the range and hit 5 at a time with each and compare how effective they are.

  3. i prefer the taylormade,at 2yrs, the head should be fine

  4. No the head is not dead. You must have not been catching it pure.

Stick with the driver you know. Theres no point in switching because all that means is that now you have to get new feel for the shaft, head, and all that stuff.

If you really want to hit the Titleist, go for it, its a great club, but then stick to it.
