Dale Jr.! After hitting wall that hard then throwing the rules out of the window! It was the biggest surprise of the race that he came away with a 5th place finish!

When it's your day it's your day! Nascar let him get away with ignoring the rules and the COT can sure take a l**k!

I'M NOT HATING, I was just surprised that he even finished on the lead lap.

Kasey Kahne after the all-star win I wasn't sure we'd see him in victory lane again so soon (but I'm glad we did) I'm also proud of Jr for having problems and getting back up to 5th!!(okay bring on the thumbs down cause I brought Jr's name up. LOL!)

Reutimann - 1st top ten ever.

Elliott Sadler - just flat out surprising.

Jeff Gordon - shocking after the way the rest of his season has gone.

Jr - Nascar bending the rules helped him tremendously.  They are doing EVERYTHING they can to make sure Jr makes it to the Chase.

David Reutimann, hands down. I was shocked to see him at the front at the end of this race, but I am happy for him. These other guys are there all the time.

I wasnt shocked by it or anything but Elliott Sadler(Not him but GEM) running as strong as he did the whole race. Good for him, he needed it.

Kyle Busch...so many problems early in the race and still came back and got third. Larry Mac said his car wouldn't make it to the finish

It was good to see Biffle get second, also.

Reutimann had a great run...would have been even better if Jr and Gordon had to pit, but they were able to make it on fuel.

Definately Reutimann. But, I was surprised Jr. finished 5th after hitting the wall as hard as he did. Also, it looks like Gillette Evernham may have turned it around.

as a couple of drivers with pretty few top 10s under their belts lately, sadler and reutimann surprised me. but i am also surprised to see jeff burton up there - not that he's there as he is one of those "mr. consistency" kind of guys, but i don't remember the commentators mentioning his name all day.  all of the others had the spotlight for at least a little while, but burton, as usual, flew in under the radar - moreso than normal.

Elliott Sadler was a very nice suprise for me.  I gotta say though I was thrilled to see Kasey Khane win.  He has had a long winless streak going and I was pretty happy for the kid.

David Reautimann  and Matt Kenseth.  Matt has gbeen strugglinfgthis season and well Reutimann is was a shock.
