Which drum set should I get?(links included)

Question

I have to choose between the pearl and the ludwig and don't know which one.

I'd take the Ludwigs. The Pearl kit has concert toms, which arent' as versatile as double-headed toms.

Get the ludwigs, and if you need to practice, you can always by some rubber pads to go over the heads to make them more quiet.

The Ludwig has a nice classic look to it but if you do get teh pearl i wouldnt get the one that is all black and half crash cymbal, it also doesnt seem to have a floor-tom. I would suggest teh Ludwig.
