Which dvd player should i go for?

i have kefs iq full range with onkyo 803 av receiver. like to know which marantz dvd player should. my budget could go up till dv7001. my question is which one would be perfect for my setup in terms of cd listening, or how much should i invest in the dvd/cd player. thankyou

I would think if you were going to invest that much money in a DVD player you should get a Blu-Ray player, maybe the Pioneer Elite BDP-94HD

If your budget allows for the 7001, then go ahead and buy it.  You'll enjoy it either way
