Which dyson model the UK is comparable with the dyson dc17 animal that is sold in the US?

I understand that the Dyson dc17 animal is one of the best vacs on the market but as I live in the UK and it is not sold here I would really appreciate if somebody knows which model is a similar to the dc 17 animal.

The closest relative to the DC17 would appear to be the DC14 animal. The configuration is very similar apart from the handle arrangement. Curiously enough the DC17 is rated at 220 air watts continuous suction and the DC14 at 280 air watts, making the UK one superior in that respect.  The weight and dimensions are very similar, with conical chambers of almost identical configuration. For me, I still hang on to my old DC04, which has proven superior to the DC07.
