Which edition of 'what to expect when u r expecting' book?

i have decided to buy the book from Amazon but then there r so many editions there....which one am i supposed to get??and also what other good books can i get on pregnancy and after birth info?!

Honestly, I'd just get a second-hand copy at your local Value Village. The revisions aren't all that different.

I liked the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy because it's funny.

Also liked Spock's baby book.

Did not care for the Sears Baby Book because everything was about co-sleeping and breastfeeding.

I also really liked Heading Home with your Newborn (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1581101... It's a cover to cover read.

That book gets terrible reviews--all editions.  So instead I got the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy instead and found it to be quite helpful and thorough.

With my last pregnancy which was almost 5 years ago I got the old edition which was helpful at the time.

Now that I'm pregnant again I went out and bought the revised edition and in my opinion I think that the revised has a little to alot more info on the whole pregnancy.

all in all I'm glad I got the revised :)

get the first book that has been around since my mother you should just buy that book and just read online its free and fast by the way congrats

Get the newest edition.  I hear the other ones suck.  I got the newest edition, and it wasn't that bad.  

Honestly though, there are so many other good pregnancy books out there, don't get What to Expect just for the name.  I think Your Pregnancy Week by Week is supposed to be good.

Personally, I skipped all of the books that describe pregnancy (except What to Expect) and instead read all of the Henci Goer, Marsden Wagner and Ida May books and all of the books about how the maternity care system in the US sucks it and how natural birth is the best, etc.

Get the earliest edition they have because surely the info. in it would be more up to date. Also that line of book makes one called "What To Expect the First Year" and one called "What to Expect the Toddler Years." I've read them all. Good books.

i got the latest one and wow it has taught me alot and i have only read up to 9 weeks.
