Which education option do I choose?

I am sitting my HSC exams this year (like SATs). It has been a dream of mine to study abroad and I decided on applying for a BBA at Hong Kong University. I am also applying for a local university for the same degree. Here is the thing: I am very close to my girlfriend of 3 years and my family. Assuming I am offered a spot at both, what do I do? leave my family and relationship behind for 4 years while I follow my dream or do I stay here with my girlfriend and family?

p.s. my dad thinks it would be a great experience to go but is also worried that id jeopardise my relationship.

Well going for an opportunity to study abroad is a chance of getting a high level of education..it will be hard to leave them out for four years..but just tell them what will be the advantages of getting a degree from a highly respected school.If you and your gf are meant to be for each other i think distance will not be a factor..:).still it's your choice...Good luck to you...
