  1. In my, as humble as I can make it, perspective (opinion is such a watered-down term) Nietzsche was THE most interesting, insightful, lucid, and "prophetic" (if the term can be applied) philosopher of all.

This isn't to say that others are not important, intelligent, and enlightening, but Nietzsche was... an Überphilosopher!

All of his ideas are appealing and plausible.

    Apollonian and Dionysian Dichotomy

    Revaluation of All Values

    Eternal Return

    Master vs. Slave Moralities

    Individualism & Egoism

    Death of God

    Will to Power

    Übermensch

    etc...

But one must tread carefully as he has been the most mistranslated and/or misunderstood/misquoted of the philosophers due to his enigmatic aphoristic style.

  2. The idea that we can become more than whatever conventional wisdom dictates we should be.  He also challenges the religious dogmas of our societies as being little more than mind control by the political powers seeking to manipulate the believers.

  3. His overall philosophy is do your own thing and make up your own mind and not to give in to excepted truth.

nietzche was all about finding truth and my very favorite is that god is death. he so is.

    sorry: she.
