Which elements would you consider Aang to have mastered?

I'm thinking he only really mastered airbending. There's plenty of stuff he can't do in water and earth, and especially fire. So say for each element if you think he mastered it, and if not, how close he was to mastering it.

of course he is mastered airbending b'cos he is airbender... if he is earthbender he will master earth bending.. and so...

Wow

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought this

he rarely used anything but airbending in any of his fights

and all his teachers were far better at bending than him

if not for the avatar spirit he would have been cremated in the final fight

aside from air I'd say he was closest to earthbending, he used it the most and made some pretty cool body armor out of it, he should have been better at water since he had so much time with Katara, but he didnt rely on waterbending very much at all...

Well i don't think he has mastered even one of them since he was young when he ran away and i do not think he knew all that there is to know about airbending if you know what i mean ...

   That is my opinion ... and even tough he learned firebending from the original firebending masters ... i don't think 1 day is enough to learn years of history and practice of other avatars ...

Air and Water

The show clearly states that he hasnt actually mastered Earth but he is Awesome at it! He needs more practice with fire.
