  1. I'm a gibson fan myself but it looks like you've already made your choice go with what you love.  The Dinky I had was great but that was 6 years ago. I don't know if their quality has changed since then.

  2. hi.

i'm also into metal and that stuff. i have a epiphone wich was my 1st guitar, it doesn't sounds very good and it's hard to soloing on it.

you talked about jackson or ibanez, i prefer jackson because they have faster and more confortable neck. and ibanez also doesn't sounds really clean. another advice is to choose a guitar with good pick ups the pickups of the ibanez that you talked are sh*t.

i wouldn't switch my jackson dk2m dinky for anything else. it is the best for that price ;)

The Jackson Pro DK2M Dinky (made in Japan) features an alder body with flame a maple veneer on the transparent finishes, and a bolt-on maple neck with an ultra-comfortable and fast, compound-radius maple fingerboard. It's loaded with Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups for huge tone, a Jackson low profile double locking tremolo, and black hardware.

  3. I own a 1963 LesPaul Gold top like Jimmy Page although, I do play better than him :-)))

I have a Fender and a Jackson.......for heavy metal studio work !!!! Jackson rocks and has a better sensitivity than my Gibson especially for Arpeggios.

It has 24 frets which allows high end sustain and active electronics and has a fender sound as well. Best of all the worlds. The best part is the awesome sound and fingerboard action.

It is set very low and the floyd rose whammy bar stays in tune.

Forget Ibanez...They need constant tuning and adjustment. I repair enough to know what I am talking about.

You're the boss. One final note...the re-sale value of Jackson is superior to Ibanez by far.

  4. I'd go with the Jackson.

    Good luck!
