There is only one "quote un-quote" goon that has my heart...Probert.  I just don't think those shoes will ever be filled again.  The best fighter AND a fantastic goal scorer.....makes fun hockey.  Oh....the good 'ol days.

I wouldn't really classify Lucic as a goon. He may not be the Terry O'Rielly power forward, but he definately has some ability. Boogaard is the true definition of a goon. When a player has more PIM than playing minutes, he's a goon.

How about Darren McCarty! He can and will fight anybody. Has the nastiest left in the business. And can score, like cup clenching goals in 97. I guess you would have to put him in the re-emerging goon cat.
