    Even water is scarce!

  3. None. Multiple sources will supplement oil, steadily increasing their share of supply, but oil has too many advantages to be replaced either quickly or easily.

  5. solar power that comes from windmills or I have heard about corn powered cars because corn has a special oil it is made of and has enough to make a car run. but with the economy running so slow it will be hard to do that especially if we are in food crysis right now

  6. Personally I think we will use all the sources we have at hand (coal, windmill, solar, etc.) along with oil.  You said in the "near" future...there is no need to "replace" it in the near future.
