Which energy source are we more likely to run out of first, oil or hydropower? why?

Oil runs out first.

Oil is renewable but it takes millions of years to do so and has to be in the right environmental/geological conditions for it to generate => fossils and fossil fuels.

Depends what you mean by run out...

As of practical use... we have pretty much maxed out on our hydropower potential here in the United States.  Even green energy proponents acknowledge this.  So as of running out of supply... oil has outlasted hydro.

Neither if them because oil and water are renewable resources water is renewable because of the water cycle and oil is renewable because it is organic and is created in the earths crust
