  7. solar energy contributes least to global warming.coal,oil and natural gas all are fossil fuels and on combustion all of them greenhouse gases (CO2 and CO) which directly contribute to global warming.but in solar energy production,there is no emission of these gases.so,solar energy contributes least to global warming.
