1. Mechanical. There are more specializations with Mechanical IMO. Though, most studies say that Electrical Engineers make more than Mechanical Engineers on average as far as starting salary goes. (Though it's not a significant amount. It's less than $2K per year.)

  2. with or without bag-ful of money you forgot to mention?

  3. That is totally up to you. Some students are scared of Statics and Dynamics so they choose Commu, CIE, Mechatronics, Biotech., Materials, Manufacturing, etc. If you think you can handle Statics, Dynamics, Rigid Body Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials (and etc) and you love them, then you should go for Mechanical engineering. Of course, I'm saying this based on my personal experience. I'm a 3rd year Aerospace Engineering student. Let me list what kind of subjects that you will be learning for aerospace: Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Gas Dynamics, Space Mechanics, CFD, Control Systems, Flight Dynamics, Rigid Body Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, Aircraft Design, Propulsion, etc etc. Hope they are of your interests *wink*

There is one more thing that you should consider - future job prospect. You might want to choose a field that is currently blooming in the job market. But then again, if you don't like what you're studying, you might not make it, imho.

    Good luck.

  4. computers....

  5. Electronics and Telecommunications.

    Good Luck!!!
