Which engineering is best with respect to salary?

I'll say chemical...

ChE's start off at about $55-60k /yr just out of college with a BA/BS..   mid to upper 60's for a MS, upper 70's to low 80's for a PhD

Median salary for all ChE's was about $90k /yr last year...annual raises of 4.8%...makes salaries > $100k after 10-12 years or so...

In addition, most chemical companies have ChE's in upper management.   great opportunities for advancement.

I may be biased though, being a chemical engineer :)

I must say Electrical, Electronics and IT Engineers have better chances of good employment at the start.

But, most manufacturing companies specially the petroleum industries are headed by Chemical Engineers.
