Hi Noel,

Mechanical is surely the booming subject in the world but I must say, Civil engineering is quite good too. This decision you have to take yourself. Both are good or bad in the eyes of different person seeing it from a different perspective. But surely, I must tell you Mechanical is surely more preferred among students than Civil engineering. I will say Mechanical Engineering, as i'm also doing mechanical engg,  but you should do that in which you are interested in, rather civil is also a good option
