  1. For me, "Politics" is the most difficult accent to understand in all of the languages I speak.

Seriously, I believe communication is a personal skill. One who is gifted and developed in the art will make themselves understood in any language, any accent. I can seldom understand folks who think communication is nothing more than knowing the right words and phonetics.

  2. Australian and New Zealander are hard to understand.

The advice about watching CNN and BBC is a good one.

  3. all of them when they are really strong are difficult to understand, even to english people

  4. Well, you'd have to be exposed to each variety of English for a decent amount of time.

One thing you can do is if you have a satellite, watch BBC news and CNN.

With BBC, you'll get to hear the standard British accent (Received Pronunciation).

With CNN, you'll most likely get American newscasters, and you'll hear the standard American accent (the so-called "Midwest" accent).

If you can understand BBC, then that'll help you with any future encounters with Australian or New Zealand English.
