I just love the Canon 400D which I used a couple of times but its beyond my price range. I was thinking of picking up a compact which gives nice and clear images and can also give reasonable night shots. I was thinking maybe the Powershot S3 IS or the Pro1. I dont want to just stick to Canon but to be honest just dont know that much about cameras but would like to learn to take really good shots.

Does anybody know of similar cameras that would be more around the price range of the the Powershots but is good value for money??

  1. I have the Kodak picture maker system comes with a 5 mga pxl and I bought a memory disk for it that holds like 300 pics. I can put my pictures on the computer and also put the camera on the dock and print Kodak quality fotos in my home. 350.00 plus the extra disk 75.00 I bought it Christmas 05 and it has payed for itself like 10 times. Go to best buy or a club store. Best purchase ever.

  2. i'd go wht a basic kodak 4 meg camera or something along those lines.... nice and automatic, good picture quality, easy to use...
