I'm moving to the UK in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering which everyday items I should buy here in the US before I get there. I've heard OTC meds (tylenol, advil, etc.) are cheaper here, for instance. Anything else?

  1. Basically everything bulk up on make-up and clothes as if a maybelline lipgloss is $5 over there it is about £10 here

  2. Every single thing here is double the amount it is in the US but our double amount wages make up for this but if your coming here on a holiday wow your going to see how worthless the dollar is here.

The only comparison I know is that in the US the average galon or gas is $4 here its $10.

Basically everything here will be expensive to you but its normal to us I know because all my friends who have gone on holiday with the money they have saved ere said everything in the US was half price.

  3. Pretty much everything will be cheaper in the US - stock up!
