I'm a 12 year old girl and I have really sensitive skin! I can't even use Clean & Clear. Most makeup makes my face feel really tingly or oily, and I now only use mascara and eyeshadow, and NYC foundation. But what face wash should I use? I need something to take away the oilyness of my face in the morning, and night, since I can't use good enough foundation to hide it. I'm thinking of using the Neutrogena Wave. Any ideas?

  1. Use skin id. if you go to their website, you take a small quiz to check what type of skin you have. Then they recommend the products just for you. :]

  2. yahh u should get the wave

  3. Hey I'm thirteen and i used to have the same problem my skin is fare and sensitive, and it would get super oily and the make up wouldn't look natural. So i bought Neutrogena blackhead eliminating 2 in 1 foaming pads and i use them at night and it gets rid of break outs as well as taking a way the oil out of my face and my skin looks better with and without makeup. And in the makeup case try using a lite bronzer and big brush and brush from the middle of your forehead down across your cheek and then down to the end of your jaw line and do that as one movement. and do it a couple times to blend it in,,, do that on both sides of your face. if isn't all the way blended in buy some cotton pads an pat your face with them.

    hope this helps

  4. have the doctor prescribe you something.

    ITS SOO MUCH BETTER!

    benzamycin or something like that

  5. Another vote for Cetaphil here! It's gentle and you don't have to take out a bank loan to purchase it. You might have a T-zone which means oily skin on the forehead, nose and chin. For those areas I use good old cow-brand baking soda and mix it in the Cetaphil to give it some scrubbing powder power every couple of days. Stay away from the face cloth just use your fingers to cleanse your face. Rinse with cold water to close your pores up and pat dry GENTLY with the fluffiest towel you can find. The best thing you can do for your skin is to not eat foods that cause blood sugar levels to spike. So pretty much most junk food is not good for skin. Also don't use rubbing alcohol as a toner /cleaner. Get some witch Hazel which is all natural and far gentler on your skin. It's great to relieve pain in a new bruise and the itch from a new mosquito bite. I can't live without it!

  6. Proactiv worked wonders for my face when it was oily.

  7. Cetaphil works great!

  8. Use Bare Minerals foundation for your skin! It may seem "expensive" but it will last you 1-2 years!!!! It's good for your skin and it wont clog your pores!!!

Also, use cetaphil to wash your face! That is what my dermatologist has me using and I have very sensitive oily  acne prone skin. It is gentle yet effective and it will leave your skin clean and undamaged.

  9. Clean and Clear REALLY dries out your face...as for the oiliness use oil absorbant cloth pad things...but the Wave is honestly NOT worth it..you have to buy new pads for it every like 2 weeks and it doesnt really do much. Get a neutrogena oil free face wash.

  10. hey ive been there..... i used to use clean and clear morning burst it it made my face oilier!!

im 13 and i use mary kay velocity cleanser it gets all of the make up off and clears off the oil
