Which family do your respect more- The Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, or the Kennedys?

Give the ten points to the Vanderbilts. They were here earlier, and they were building the nation before the Rockefellers, and they did it legally.

Jan Aertszoon van der Bilt (1620–1705) showed up in New Netherlands in 1650 as an indentured slave. The family line evidentially overcame his troubles. They appear to be a distant cousin line of mine, so I'm prejudiced,  but  they didn't share their money with my ancestors...

Rockefellers showed up in the later 1700's, and didn't share their oil with us either, and likewise the Kennedys showed up even later and didn't share their smuggled whiskey or fortune with me.

Not sure I would have picked any of them, especially the Kennedy's.

For what it's worth I guess the Rockefeller's.  They were incredible philanthropist.  Not sure I am aware of much philanthropy work done by the Vanderbilt's.  Some of the Kennedy's do to, but I still don't like them.
