I'm in a keeper league and these are the top RBs that are left: Willie Parker, Larry Johnson, McGahee, Jamal Lewis, Jones-Drew, Maroney, and Brandon Jacobs. How would you rank these players and why is your 1st choice at the top? Thanks!

  1. OK heres the list

    1. Jamal- he gets all of his carries so you know he would put up numbers

    2. Jones-Drew- kind of splits carries but still puts up good numbers

    3. Johnson- has been good put hasn't really shown his worth in the last two years

    4. Jacobs- is good but has injury issues

    5. Maroney- hasn't really put up good numbers and is on the Pats, they pass almost all the time in the red zone

    6. McGahee- gets decent numbers but is suffering from losing his start position, maybe

    7. Parker- I love him but this depends on how many points you get on yardage compared to TDs, he gets great yardage but only had like 3 TDs last year. Now with the Steelers drafting Mendenhall, he is going to steal all of Parker's Red Zone carries so even less TDs, OUCH

Good luck and remember this is my opinion.

  2. 1. Jones-Drew - Up and coming team, -great- line that zone-blocks for the running game very well, Garrard's a great rising QB who'll take pressure off the ground with really accurate passing, Taylor's aging & the wheels could come off his wagon at any time

    2. Lewis - Gets most of the carries, the danger of the Browns receivers opens up the running lanes for him

    3. Maroney - Odds are people won't let Brady throw 50 touchdowns again, & will stack their defenses coverage-heavy trying to follow what the Giants did in the Super Bowl, with the upshot being Maroney's going to have much better stats. this coming season

    4. Johnson - Stellar trade bait, has a huge name

    5. Parker - Great open field runner, but Mendenhall will rush at the goal-line & the offense is centered around Roethl and the receivers

    6. McGahee - The Ravens have no one who can throw the ball and no one who can catch it, he's all they have on offense

    7. Jacobs - I love Jacobs, but after how Derrick Ward and Ahmad Bradshaw performed and judging how Coughlin dumped Shockey for the younger guy Kevin Boss I'd worry about his shares on the offense

  3. 1. Larry Johnson. Look at his stats 2 years ago.

    2. Maroney - something tells me this is his breakout year

    3. Lewis

    4. Jones-Drew

    5. McGahee

    6. Jacobs

    7. Parker

  4. LJ because he had some strong games before his injury.

    then

Jamal Lewis because hes a the featured back w a good OL.

MJD because hes got a great OL and should see more carries.

Jacobs because he rushd for 1000yds in only 11 games. Injury Prone.

Parker should easily have 1000yds, but few TDs.

Maroney ended very strong, but is in crazy NE system.

McGahee I dont trust his knees and has a hot back behind him.

But, since it is a Keeper, you may go and grab MJD, but there are prolly better guys youll be keeping anyway.

  5. Larry Johnson-- Will get all the carries and bounce back

Jamal Lewis--  Again, their only RB and will get carries

Jones-Drew-- I think Fred Taylor finally breaks down

Jacobs-- He's the best of the Giants RB's.

Maroney-- Should get some carries but Bellichek loves multiple Rb's.  And he's got to compete with Morris and Jordan.

McGahee-- His knee surgery scares me
