  1. win

  2. The feeling of win is the feeling of happiness

The feeling of loss is the feeling of pursuit of happiness

So the feeling of loss is more stronger than win

  3. I think the feeling of a loss is greater. When we lose something we always have that feeling tht we should have tried harder and succeeded in catching hold of that thing.

As for fear, it comes naturally. When there is so much pressure on them to perform well well they do develop a slight thing of fear thinking what people will feel if they let them down..........So frankly we are responsible for adding pressure on someone who loses.

  4. This is a great Q Mel. Feeling of a loss is definitely much more stronger. A team has to lose once in a while always so they can improve more and ask Questions about their team. This is important in Cricket. A team can only win if it loses. As the saying goes - We learn from our mistakes. This is absolutely true.

Winning is a great thing when it happens but you can't really improve and step up as much.

Teams fear loss because to them it is embarrasment and they don't know how the public will react back at home. (esp in India). A loss can end careers, break teams, break the whole cricket board of a country and cause a lot of controversy, destroy dreams and many more.

Edit: By the way Mel i dont think i contratulated you on your Top Contributor badge! Well done. You're an awesome user!

  5. Feeling of loss is definitely stronger.  When you win, you find usually that there is no big deal and there is a void after initial euphoria.

  6. STRONGER is win

  7. Well I knw one of the best feelings is winning a close game that you thought you were gonna lose that feeling is amazing I have had a few a game against Windies where we had to take a hat trick to win by one run, the 438 game was great then the game against Sri Lanka in the world cup and recently the 5th odi against Pak last year were the game was gone and we pulled a win out of no where those were amazing feelings normal wins are nice but the joy is magnified greatly by close ones then losing can be pretty strong the world cup in 1999 was horrible because we lost so close thats even worse and then pretty much whenever you get knocked out of major tournaments the feelings are strong and can bring out the tears so I guess loss is greater because it affects you more and the second question I guess its the mental side of the game all the things that come with losing so they cant help but fear losing even though it affects their game negatively experience helps once you win the feeling of that carries with you and helps you in future situations like that but if you have never accomplished something as a big win the emotions just get too much and you most often fail

  8. The feeling of loss is much stronger because you strive for improvement and try to hit back again at your opposition... The feeling of a Win ...however good it is, always try to smuggle in a feeling of complacency and hence the person doesnt feel that strong.... However if somebody has fought tooth and nail for his win then I suppose the feeling become very special because you have the feeling that you have really vanquished some one and stood in the face of adversity....

  9. successive loss.

  10. feeling of loss always very strong

  11. its a question between happiness vs. sadness

happiness- a great feeling u love to have for eternity

sadness- a disappointing feeling we try to avoid most times

loss is a stronger feeling because when u r facing a loss u r goin through stress, sadness and other stuff like insults are so on

    for ur second question

loss could result embarrassment and sadness which we fear feeling. We are aware that consequence of fear is loss but when realizing this u r already goin through fear..... thinking about fear is goin through fear for we fear ; fear

    nice question

  12. Good question, Mel.

I'm almost tempted to say "and that's my answer", but I won't.

The joy from a win actually depends on whether you are used to winning or not. Teams that win frequently will experience joy each time they are victorious, but they will becoma accustomed to winning. This therefore reduces the exuberence level, as winning is expected.

The pain from losing also depends on how often a team loses. If a team loses on a frequent basis, although it will be painful,at some stage it becomes customary to lose. In these cases, if a team wins, the strength of their joy would be exceptionally high. Losing all the time will numb the pain felt. If a team only loses occasionally, then the pain will be severe.

So actually, I can't answer your question, and say which is stronger. Because it all really depends on the context of the win or loss.

As to why teams fear loss, knowing that the consequences of fear is more often a loss: that is simply part of the human psyche. If you think negative thoughts, it is more likely that negative things will happen.
