  6. There will never be another "Mary Lou"...now there will be someone that will remind you of her...or that's on the same level as her but not just like her.

    I think people shouldn't "compare" Shawn Johnson to Mary Lou because that's some big shoes to fill (talk about pressure) and Shawn hasn't even won Gold yet!

    If Shawn wins the women's individual all-around gymnastics final, then call her "the next Mary Lou Retton" or call her 'the Mary Lou Retton of our time'.
