Today, Mayweather v. Cotto would be bigger than Mayweather v. Margarito. In Mayweather v. Cotto, you have two undefeated men, who have victories over a couple of common opponents. Their styles also contrast. You have a hard hitting pressure fighter against a not-so-hard hitting, slick boxer.

With the defeats that Margarito have already, he wouldn't be more appealling on paper than Cotto.

Now, after the July meeting of Cotto and Margarito, it not going to matter. The winner will simply be the bigger draw. If Cotto wins, then he'll just simply continue to be a big draw. Now, if Margarito beats Cotto, then things will greatly shift in Margarito's favor. Margarito would then be the new must see fight with Mayweather, as Cotto will take a step back in defeat.

Mayweather is praying that this fight becomes a draw so that he won't have to face any of them. by it being a draw these boys will want to fight again i can see this fight Margarito vs Cotto fight 3 times 1st fight Cotto by points but a war could have gone either way. 2nd fight Margarito by Points another war 3rd fight ........... and the winner is........?????? and that is how Mayweather will not fight anyone of these guys... a better fight would be Manny Pac-Man Pacquiao vs Mayweather if manny can move up in weight

Mayweather vs Cotto would be a huge fight especially if he beats Margarito that would be the next, and best move, it would be a huge payday for both fighters.
