The fighting scenes of the movies look very cool, I was wondering in which martial arts the choreography was based?

According to a profile of the character showed in MI 1, Ethan Hunt knows Capoeira. And actually in the second movie many of his moves are capoeira-based, but he also uses lots of closed-fist punches, holds, disarms, etc. which as far as I know, capoeira doesn't have those. Any idea of from which style did that came from?

  1. In MI 2 Cruise was directed by John Woo... so id assume a lot of the moves were choreographed by a Hong Kong action movie stunt crew...In MI 3, I think they used Kali.

  2. movie stuff, there really is no art

  3. The ancient and mysterious teachngs of L. Ron Hubbard. I heard he trained with John Travolta.

  4. Hollywood! This is not REALITY!

  5. Hollywood-Fu

    Movie-Jitsu
