Which file do i delete in the windows folder so that my administrator password is removed?

Like i said some one placed a password on the public computer in our room and it wasnt the warden. we cant format windows and i know that there is some file in which windows stores it's password and i want to delete it using a live linux disk which i have to use. i wish to know which file that would be so i can remove this pasword and start using the computer again

Hi there if u hav the alternate user account there other than administrator u can trick to change the password easily .But if u dont have that and u know the process of linux live cd then here is the path

c:\windows\ system32\config there r two SAM (security account manager) files here that r encrypted

but i suggest you to download ERD commander that allows you to login  without even entering the password isnt that would be greeat? download it  from internet and if you cant find tell me i will mail you the link because i cant post it here becoz its not permissible here

You need to call your computer company (ex: dell or apple), thats what I had to to.
