Which fish should i get for my tank?

my grandparents just gave me an old 46 gallon tank i have a list of fish im thinking about getting and here they are: i have researched these fish don't worry! bluegill,native perch,Oscar fish,African knife fish and or clown knife,channel cat,native fish

get some guppies they have babies once a month!!guppies stay small and they live in groups and they are cheap super cheap.i get my guppies for $2 dollars for a couple.platies have less babies only like 5 a month.guppies have like 50 babies a month.

Where did this betta talk come from! Betta's  can live with lots of different species! Ok, to small for koi, if they stop growing it means there growth is stunted. This Will shorten there lifespan and cause them to have a pain full death or either organ failure of rupture. Not a good way to die. Koi need 200 gallons each. Oscars need 55 gallons for 1, so scratch them. Bluegill needs cold water, so if you get them they can not go with any other fish on your list. They also need to eat a variety of things, from frozen and live fish to dead pinkie mice. Your tank is big enough for 1. Native Perch.....well, the tank sounds much to small for them and they are cold water also, if you are gonna have a cold water tank of native fish you  really need 100 gallons or more.

It could wok for 1 or 2 knife fish. But only of 1 species.

The tank is too small for an oscar and especially the channel cat who gets to about 4 feet and would need something better than 300 gallons.

Your kind of pushing it with that many fish and should really get a bigger tank to house those sorts of species.

Maybe well if say you want a betta fish don't put other fishes because they'll fight and eat each other

if u want a  betta just get one.because if u put two they'll fight.

don't put betta fish they'll kill anything . what about koi. the grow big but not to big because of their inviriment.
