I choose a dress that best fitted both my bridesmaids. And to go with my theme also. The dress is a sand colour but I have no idea as to what colour the flowers could be? Any idea???

A picture of the dress isat http://forum.weddingcentral.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=90491&p=1349494&sid=179855d62f989015184cfe86440006b6

  1. Well, your picture doesn't work, but if the dress color is sand, you could go with a teal/blue color...

    That would be my suggestion.

You could do white roses with blue daisies. That would be really cute. :)

  2. Personally I'd choose beachy flowers to go with a sandy dress.  Perhaps give us some more info on your theme too?

White orchids with Pink edging would be my ultimate pick!  Since the dress is a neautral colour.

    Even Tulips, Lillies... (white)

    Lots of greenery too.

  3. What's the rest of your THEME ?  Deep red roses would look good with sand...but I don't know if that suits the rest of your plans ?  I think white with lots of greenery would look good too...

  4. Sunflowers

  5. i dont know if people are reading your question correctly...teal/aqua flowers?? come on! i think almost any color other than white would look wonderful. what is the other color in your wedding? could you use that? my wedding colors are aqua & cream. my flowers will be hot pink and orange roses.

  6. Well the link didnt work for me but my vote is soft pink - it looks lovely elegant & goes with anything. Plus there are so many different flowers in this colour that im sure you will find what your wanting.

    Good Luck

  7. Link wouldn't show up, but sand is a very neutral color.  You can go with blues or teals, they go very well with sand.  Then have the ushers wear that color tie and cummerbund.

  8. Cerise orchids, matching lipstick

  9. I sort of think you should have flowers that are a close colour to the bridesmaid's dresses. You want to be the one standing out, not them!

  10. Shades of pink, from pale to hot

    A true pink

    Orange and Yellow

    Soft Peach

    Purple and Peach

I would personally stick with 'softer' colors rather than a bold like deep red or a dark purple (only - mixed with softer colors will work fine).

As for what kind of flower? - Well, it depends on what you like and dislike. I knew I didn't want anything looking like a carnation and told the florist so. I had lovely roses and freesia and orchids and lillies. Go through online sites and sort through what you don't like and take that list with you to the florist - it will help them find something you will like!

    Congratulations and Have Fun!
