I just did a driver's permit test today and passed it. But when it came to the vision eye test I failed. I saw the numbers and they kept disappearing. And now I need to go test my eyes bla bla and pay like a bunch of money.

What kind of foods will help improve my eyes?

  1. No, you are not going to solve this by a shift of diet.

Adding vitamins and minerals is principally of benefit if you are deficient in them.  Beyond that, they accomplish little.

You are likely to be very surprised at how well you could have been seeing.

And since at least until the age of 25 a road traffic accident is the thing most likely to kill you, you really need all the visual edge you can get.

  2. beta carotene has been proven to help eye sight..but it will not regenerate it..if you eye sight is bad...enough to wear glasses it can slow the degeneration process down but not reverse it

Carrots have high beta carotene for one.

  3. *sigh*

You know we have the same problem. I have tried eating many fruits that they said that could regain or restore my visual quality to normal, unfortunately nothing change. Oh yeah and I've ate almost all of "greens" except grass (I'm not a goat though). For now I've found that there's no solution for our problem, but you can use eye glasses just to improve your visual as you needed. DON'T loose hope ;)

  4. Greens

  5. no foods will improve your eyes.  sorry, but that doesnt exist.  there are foods that lessen the likelihood of ocular disease like cataracts & macular degeneration: those are beta-carotines & high antioxidant foods.  leafy green veggies kind of thing.

but there is no food that improves your acuity or "lessens" your Rx, contrary to popular belief.  carrots WILL NOT make you see better.
