  1. USC!  LSU got lucky last year that USC did not play in the national championship game. USC will show everyone third week of the season against Ohio St. that they are the best team in the nation.

  2. I would have to go with LSU. Ohio State made it to the championship game the last two seasons, because they didn't have to play and beat any tough opponent in the regular season. USC is in an extremely over rated conference where they don't have to match up against any real opponent. USC is very lucky they are in the Pac 10, because if they were in any other conference except the big 10 they never would have won those controversal championships a few years back.

  3. Impossible question to answer before a game has been played, but lets look at it this way. Ohio State has the most experienced, proven players coming back, and they were in the BCS championship last year. They have a heisman contender that is a beast at RB. Plus they have the best recruit in the nation that is going to play a good bit for a change of pace. USC has wads of talent on both sides of the ball. They have a quarterback who has been in the system for a long time watching good upperclassmen run the offense. A stable of running backs including Louisiana's own Joe McKnight(human highlight reel). And probably the best safety in the league in Taylor Mays (6-5 stud). And they play in a roody poo conference. LSU probably has the most talent in the depth chart, with all of the running backs(very good ones at that) coming back. They return 4/5 O linemen and will replace the right tackle they lost with a kid that could be great. D-line will probably be better than last year when they had Dorsey wrecking shop. MVP of the National Championship Ricky Jean-Francois is listed as a back-up to start the season, may move to tackle. And Chad Jones is a star in the making in the secondary. But what it comes down to always in college football is quarterback play. All three of these teams have the type of talent that they need a quarterback not to be a star but to get the ball to the studs and not make mistakes. I would rank Sanchez as probably the better of the three but he is unproven. Boeckmen is next but the combo of him and pryor could put the over the top. And LSU's biggest question mark is at quarterback where they will start a QB who has never taken a snap. So if your asking who is better match-up wise I would say that LSU may take the cake if they can iron out the QB issues. But as far as records will go at the end of the season, SEC will beat you up every game and it would be hard for them to make it out of that schedule with a better record than the other two.

  4. well it would be which is a better all around team and probably LSU

  5. "LSU got lucky last year" "LSU Please share the title with us"

Good grief when will you USC fans quit whining.

    BCS Champs twice

    Only Team to win twice

Lucky, they didn't lose to who Stan, Staff Oh something like that

    LSU

    LSU

    LSU

  6. USC if Mark Sanchez and the team had not got injured they would be number 1!

  7. Right now, today, its Ohio State.

8 Months ago, it was LSU.

4 years ago, it was USC.

  8. LSU by far....better conference and thus better tested

  9. For those of you that  think LSU was just lucky in winning the 2007 championship consider the following:  LSU finished the season 5-0 against teams ranked in the final top 15,  Georgia was 2-1, and USC was 0-0.

LSU was also 2-0 against teams ranked in the final top 10.  Neither Georgia or USC played anyone ranked in the final top 10.

LSU defeated 4 teams ranked higher than the highest ranked team USC beat, and 3 teams ranked higher than the highest ranked team Georgia beat.
