if you really want to get ahead go for mandarin. The chinese will soon overtake the US as the world superpower. There will be a great demand for chinese interpreters

Mandarin: China is heavily industrial and is beginning to import world wide products into their country, speaking their language would be advantageous.

arabic bcz here in america need to learn about the middle eastern culture. although not alot of arabic schools but you can get a good job with arabic speaking skills. many schools and unveristies teach arabic these a days.
