Which foreign language should i learn?

Question

i m doing 2nd semester mechanical engg. and i want to learn any foreign language which is useful for my future career

pls suggest me with a gud language like french, german, spanish etc.

i learn french and i love it. i did a bit of german and it's good but very masculine and "square" which i didn't enjoy. i think it's best you choose a language to learn that you really like because it's important for you to be really interested and passionate about what you're doing, you'll do it better :) good luck! x

I think spanish... I mean that is like the second most popular language in the U.S...

i take italian and spanish, but i love taking both of them because they are both pretty similar. if i hear a word in spanish, i can translate it into italian... it can get a little confusing sometimes, but it's also easy to pick up :]

I agree with some of the other folks...spanish. I take spanish and it helps...because of the diversity in America, Spanish is a very big language. If you take any language, it is essential to take more then two years, becuase each year you build, and you technically are not fluent until you can talk about pretty much anything.!
