  1. chelatin coated tablets (look white and dry) are usually the easiest for your body to absorb fast. They usually sell them at grocery stores and pharmacies, normally in 50mg dosages.

  2. I use the L-monomethionine from Now Foods, called L-OptiZinc. It also has chelated copper to help avoid copper deficiency or imbalance one can bring on by long-term supplementation of Zinc. They are capsules, not tablets, which I believe also aids absorption. See here: http://www.nowfoods.com/?action=itemdeta...

In looking for some of the "studies" it seems every vitamin company claims (I didn't find any) I found an interesting site about zinc deficiency in DOGS that had info not found elsewhere: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?...

My experience is that zinc gluconate lozenges are absorbable, but they also make me sick at my stomach.

Pretty good article here, by Dr. George Obikoya: http://www.vitamins-nutrition.org/vitami...

  3. Don´t know which is most absorbable but take care with zinc as doses over 25mg daily can cause anaemia and copper deficiency.  I took a course of zinc last year, sold in tablets of 50mg and felt so sick, nauseaus within minutes of taking it every day so I did some research and this is also a side effect of too much zinc.
