  1. growing good food.

  2. Coherent speech, proper spelling, and correct grammar?   :)))

  3. Good taste

  4. Writing a letter by hand, in script. I believe that (despite the convenience) email has taken the place of a well written (in cursive) letter.

Of course, with the cost of postage stamps; and they are soon to increase in cost, email is cheaper.

  5. 1. Letter writing.

    2. Conversation (due to iPods etc.)  (I teach English Language at A Level and students now don't know very much about conversation that they hear going on around them on buses in cafes etc, because they are cut off.  This means that they don't know very much about turn-taking in relation to passing a turn, keeping a turn, or ending a turn in a conversation).  I find this quite sad.

  6. Quiltmaking. Nobody's sewing anymore, and nobody's quilting (and those that are are a) rare or b) old). Actually, ad to that samplers and tapestries - I researched some for uni and no-one's done any of real significance since Victorian times.

  7. Lint sculpture. How many good lint sculptures have you seen lately?

  8. Piano playing. Friend plays it beautifully but how many people do you know who have pianos in their homes? Definitely dying out.

  9. The art of fan language.

Fire making without lighters or matches.

hunting...Everythnigh is being cultivated these days.
