There seems to be two main forms of Vit D ergocalciferol (plant based vitamin D2) and cholecalciferol (animal based vitamin D3).There seems to be much uncertainty as to which form is best. Some say D3 is vastly superior, others say D3 is only minimally better, while others say they are about equal.Can anyone offer evidence as to which on IS best? And why is there so much debate as to which one is better, either it is or it isnt there.Thanks
