Which formula is closest to/most like breast milk?

my wife likes to use similac with iron.all 3 of our kids like/liked it

We use the boob, but from what I've read, they are really all the same.  The only difference is in the marketing.  I've even heard docs recommend generic brands because they are exactly the same, just cheaper because they don't spend so much $ on advertising.

I think most formula says that it's close to breastmilk.  But I think is untrue.  Talk to your doctor about which formula is best to use for your baby.

i have been told enfamil lipil by another friend or mine who is also a RN, so that is what we use....she does too...gl

similac with dha which is the main ingredient in breast milk. but breast is still best

none of them are "most like" breastmilk

thats something the formula companies use as a marketing technique

breastmilk has hundreds of different compounds that are not found in formulas and it changes at each feeding
