Which franchise do you think is most determined to win the Indian Premier League?

I think Red Chiilies Entertainment(owners of Knight Riders) and the UB group (owners of Bangalore Royal Challengers)are most serious about IPL.

Shahrukh Khan's passion for cricket is amaizing.He has added all the extra flavors to the ipl.Great guy.

And we all know what a competitor Vijay Mallya is.He is one man who will do just about anything for Bangalore Royal Challengers.

I am supporting Punjab King's XI.I don't think they will IPL but you never know in T20 cricket.A good unit can upset any formidable opposition on a given day in this format.It doesn't matter if they win or not,i will be supporting them throughout the tournament.

SRK is very passionate about his team and had read his interview this morning. It said that to SRK nothing is a  second priority and i think he is very much serious about his boys winning the IPL!

i think its srk .. he seems like determined to win anything he tries and IPL is like a huge make it or break it thing for him..

all the other franchise are well-based multi nationals.. and srk is here just like abcl once was.. and to add on he is a sportsguy himself....

Yes  you are absolutely right that Shahrukh has promoted his team very well and that too well b4 others started airing their own advertisements....he has already connected very well with the audiences and he has provided gr8 entertainment stuff for his supporters.

I like the Knightriders team ..they are my second favorite team after Mumbai Indians.

Only Rajasthan Royals team looks a boring one with only Shane Warne there at the moment with them...King's XI take on them tonight ...all the best to ur team!

All the owners of the different IPL teams have paid a lot of cash for their respective franchises, and I am sure that everyone will want his team to emerge as the winners. Still, I think that SRK is the most serious about IPL, and he is really taking a lot of interest. He would do everything to make sure that we win. I am no fan of any Bollywood stars, but still I think that SRK's  personality is greater than the owners of any other team, and he has been successful in transmitting his enthusiasm among the players of his team so far. Yesterday, when Knight Riders looked to be in a bit of trouble, I saw the serious tension on King Khan's face, but still he didn't lose hope, and kept on cheering his side continuosly. That really made the dfference. Moreover, we have a captain like Sourav, who as we all know, loves to win more than anything else. Both dada and SRK are great motivators.

The owner of Bangalore Royal Challengers is also eager to see his team win, as is evident by the professional fight they put up yesterday against the Mumbai Indians. But the captain of the T20 world cup winning team, MS Dhoni would also make sure that his reputation and image as the skipper of the T20 champs stays intact. Ganguly is a tremendous skipper no doubt, but a choker, who always lost at the finals. So, I wouldn't be surprised if Chennai Super Kings win the IPL, and we Calcuttans be the runners up.

Honestly, Shah Rukh and Vijay Mallya are into Cricket only now (...only in the IPL)

But if you think about one company that is supporting Cricket for long time...then it is India Cements.The owner of Chennai SuperKings.

The others who have played for the company include Sehwag, L.Sivaramkrishnan, etc.. All the top players have played for India Cements Ltd. at some time or the other.

Publicity is one thing and game is another. Currently as you

point out Knight Riders and Royal Challengers are determined

with publicity more than the game. What ever it is, one must not

forget that no one bigger than the game of cricket irrespective

of how much they spend and get publicity. Current KRs are

doing fine and SRK should be a happy campaigner. But as it

gets into middle of this tournament, we will all know how well

the teams have done.

Many mentioned Rajasthan to be the weakest team, but they

are on the win column and T20 is a game even it can knock

off the top teams. Royal Challengers also won against the top

Mumbai team.....

I would say all IPL teams are determined to win.

Besides being a Sourav-SRK-Juhi fan, it was a treat to see the way they developed their team and took care of every little thing.

The team was launched much before the rest. Looked well organized and well thought of.

Chennai's team is also strong. The main contest will be RC vs Chennai SK vs KKR.

This was very evident ever since they had the auctions. Is that not so. Preity chose a glamorous team. Jaipur sat waiting in the wings with Greg Chappel.

Kolkata must get Shoiab back. It has made a dent.

I am sure Punjab will win against Jaipur and Priety Z will have a genuine smile on her lips. That day she looked tense.

Kolkata Knight Riders. They have the 2nd lowest payroll I believe and yet they're at the top of the points table currently. Most of the other teams are incredibly unbalanced, either only having good batting or good bowling. Kolkata seems to have one of the more balanced teams in the League. I support them (as i am Bengali) and at the same time I believe they have a good chance of winning.

m supporting Knight Riders , they r playing very well . i hope they win !

Kings XI Punjab : they have a good side but the energy was missing in the last match .

Rajastan Royals : this seems to be the weakest team in IPL . but again , its too early to comment .

Deccan Chargers : brilliant team , perhaps the best in IPL. they just need to come together and play as a team .

Mumbai Indians: Indian players in the team will be the key , they r widely known in the domestic circuit . so dont count them out yet .

Chennai Super Kings : Dont know y , but i dont like this team . i hope they loose ! lol

Royal Challengers : good team , not that into t20 .. but 1-2 players can win you a game .

Delhi daredevils : brilliant team .. m sure they will do very good .

yes Kolkata seems to be playing with whole dedicaion. ho na ho SRK must be giving the team a strong speech before evry match as he did in chak de before. but evn i support punjab's team...preity also seems t be very dedicated  as she looked very tensed when they started loosing the match. i hope atlest my team should reach atleast finals....but dfiantely KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS are goin to tak the trophy home.
