  1. I think all of them except perhaps Babe Ruth would have done well in today's game. Nothing against the Babe but today's baseball has a lot to do with conditioning and he sure never bothered with that.

  2. Cy Young

Just the Way he played back THEN, I think he would do great now

  3. I think all would do good but i would love to see Babe Ruth hit hr that would be sweet

  4. They would all do well because they would've adapted to the game the way it is played today, including any conditioning routines.

  5. Babe Ruth would have owned at hitting in this modern era. This is beacuse there are more teams then there were in Ruths time, therefore the pitching talent is spread around. So Ruth would be facing more average/below average SP's than he would during his time. During his time there was only one league, and it was full of talented pitching.

So, (assuming Ruth doesnt pitch for 5 years) he could hit 900-1000 HRs in his career.

Everyone on your list would've excelled at playing today because they were just some of the most talented players ever to play. But I think Ruth would excel the most, because he is probably the greatest hitter of all time.

  6. Not Cy Young only b/c we have to have a 5 starter rotation. Nobody likes it (I don't), but Cy could probably still win al lthose games & not cry like Mark Prior...

Babe Ruth would've put 800 homers over the wall. Especially if he played against the Tigers Fernando Rodney, or most of the NYM relief pitching.

Jackie Robinson would make Crawford & Hanley Ramirez look slow. He'd probably have 80+ steals a season..
