is a nectarine a peach and a plum?

my friend says a kiwi is from a gooseberry and an apple but i'm not sure!

is there any other fruit?

  1. Your friend needs to brush up on fruit.  A Kiwi is originally a fruit from New Zealand.  Gooseberries are mainly European, although are also found in Western Asia.  

    The most common fruit that has been spliced is the apple.  There are many hybrid varieties out there. Splicing is much more commonly done to fruit trees.


  2. My local fruit shop sells a fruit which is half apple and half pear. It's delicious.
