  2. i love Clue.It has so much suspense and I love suspense!

  3. I love Imaginiff, Taboo, Pictionary, Cranium and Blurt.

  4. i like chess but if i play to long my eyes get tired and i can lose .

  5. Clue is so fun

  6. There are so many games that are fun!  It depends on you and your interests, and how many people want to play.  Different people find different games the most fun.

For me the best game is scrabble because I like word games and I like the challenge of scrabble.  But mancala is a close second because it is such an ancient game and has been found in cultures all over the world.  It is easy to learn and to play and suitable for all ages - a neat game.

For a large group I like taboo, another word game but great fun for a large group.

In card games, bridge is the ultimate.  There is no bettet card game.

So the most fun game depends on the people and the situation.

  7. clue, battleship, risk, mancala, taboo, twiser, scategories, cranium, and scene it a dvd game that i absolutely lov. hope my answer helps. :-)

  8. I love backgammon. You can play it online on Yahoo and they have leagues too.

  9. There's a huge, huge number of board games out there and most of the the mainstream ones are pretty crappy. The best stuff resides just below the mainstream.

I've had lots of fun with Settlers of Catan, Zombies!!!, Guillotine and Apples to Apples. Settlers of Catan is a good strategy game with some luck thrown in. Apples to Apples is a great party game and Zombies!!! and Guillotine are good in the middle of the party/strategy spectrum.

Of mainstream games I like Trivial Pursuit and Texas hold 'em poker.

I like classic Battletech, but that game really redlines the strategy spectrum and it's too heavy for most people.

There's a website called boardgamegeek.com that lists almost every board game published since 1970 with reviews and descriptions. You can find the game that's perfect for you there.

  10. If fun, to you, means intellectually and social engaging, then Diplomacy would be a hands down winner.

For escape value, however, more abstract games like Sorry, Aggravation and Parcheesi are great. Games that engage the mind without requiring much socially include Chess and Dominoes. More social games include Dungeons and Dragons, Monopoly and Risk.

There are other standards for defining fun, but those are the ones which which I am most familiar.
