Which game should I buy first? Gears of War, or Rainbow six vegas?

I don't have Xbox live right now, so which should I buy first?

I'm not going to recommend any games as you never asked. I've played both games and in my opinion gears of war is the way forward. A good campaign mode and it isn't bad online either! I'm sure you'll be pleased whichever game you buy. Good luck. Billy (Fellow Xbox Fan) x

what u dont have live? what's the point of getting a 360 then? i guess gears of war is slightly better single player, but people play it mainly cuz of the amazing multiplayer. it also has much better graphics than vegas.

I personally would recommend renting both games because their sequel is/will be out. Take GoW for example, a great AAA game. But it lacks if you don't have Xbox Live. The 2 player online co-op is a blast and so its online, but the single player is essentially just a rental. Besides, Gears of Wars 2 will release in Nov. and it will have so many new features, including online/offline multiplayer bots.

And onto Rainbow Six Vegas, while it is a quality title, the sequel is currently out for a relatively low cost. I sold my original copy of RSV for less then $20 earlier this year. Unless you have Xbox Live I would recommend this as another rental, if you can even find it in a rental store.

If your looking for online play, rainbow six vegas easily wins. You can customize your own man as you progressively rank up and also enjoy such a good laugh with friends.

But story wise, gears of war wins on a close margin. Its a h**l of a story but rainbow six story is good aswell. but gears just beats it.

I suggest Rainbow if your looking for online play, but gears for offline.

Both are good games, but in my opinion Gears of War is better. Why not buy GTA4 or Call of Duty 4.
