Which game should i get pokemon sapphire or emerald?

I personaly would choose emerald only becuase the game play even though it says they are pretty much the same game, the game play for emerald is much longer and it was overal a much more enjoyable game.

and offf the record i though emeralds Pokemon were better.

i have sapphire and my friend has emerald. i thought that sapphire was good but emerald has a lot more stuff going on. in my opinion emerald is better. there's more stuff to do in emerald than there is in sapphire. you should look them up yourself and see what would be better for you. everyone has different opinions.

Emerald for sure!

I got it and my little brother was really jealous because he got Sapphire.

He beat it first, but in Sapphire, the only legendary pokemon you can catch are the three Regi's, Latias, Rayquaza and Kyogre.

In Emerald you can catch the three Regi's, Latios, Latias,  Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza.

Emerald. The first reason is because Emerald don't only allow you to catch Raquaza, but you can also catch Groudon and Kyogre. But if you talk about the story, then it is kinda different. if you don't mind, buy both!

sapphire is the way to go. i much prefered the story line and pokemon in sapphire.

as the otheres have said, emerald gives you more legendarys. has, in my opinion, a more interesting gameplay. and also when you beat the champion, you can go to the battle frontier.
