Both genders lie.  But if its a question of successful deception than females are the best like for example, they can fake orgasms and you'd never know it.

Nowadays it doesn't really matter your gender, but in the early ages of man, the female cared for the family, and the men protected them.  But they are both towards survival.

It's not their fault. Women are not allowed to express anger. If a women is forthright and direct, she gets called a B*tch.

By an early age, they have to become powder puff push-overs or they have to become Machiavellian. Think about this. A little boy hits another little boy. He might get in trouble, but his peers will support him.

A little girl hits another little girl. Her peers will shun her. The school authorities will freak, such a break from social norms might require psychotherapy....

A man loses his temper and shouts in public. It might be viewed as rude, but it's manly. h**l, he might be RIGHT, d*mn it!

Those people who are deprived of emotional outlets and not allowed to express themselves honestly,, must develop deceptive means of getting what they want or become apathetic.

This early education in deception and manipulation is why women will end up running the planet as our cultures phase out violence and war.

This will leave only indirect forms of conflict, which females master at an early age while males only learn them later (if at all)
