Which gets better mileage, a four or six cylinder camry?

because it is obviously more luxurious than the corolla, therefore it probably has a heavier frame or overall weight, including all the goodies the corolla doesnt have. so would the v6 perform better because less strain is put on the more powerful engine, or does that fact that a bigger engine takes more fuel cancel that out?

Generally speaking, the smaller the engine the better the economy.  All else being equal, fewer pistons mean smaller engines.

the reason the V6 performs better is because it uses more fuel. the 4 cylinder gets better mileage. the less cylinders, the more mileage you get, because less gas gets used
