Which gin should I buy?

I've only recently got in to drinking gin, so I've only had a couple of different home brands. My choice is between Gordon's, Beefeater or Plymouth gin. What are the differences in taste? They will all be served with tonic.

I don't know the differences in taste, but Gordon's is yummy :)

definitely beefeater.....smooth

Whenever you're adding tonic to gin, it really doesn't matter how smooth it is. However, if it were my choice of straight or tonic, it would be Sapphire.

I have always chosen Beefeater's, but there is nothing wrong with Gordon's, but I haven't had Plymouth.

You didn't list it - but I would always choose Bombay Sapphire.
