Which glue to stick veneer to brass?

Question

I need to stick 0.6mm thick veneer to a sheet of 16g brass. Which adhesive would i use and is there anythin (eg keying?) that may need to be done to brass in order for it to stick properly? Please bear in mind i am in UK when you recommend a certain type :D

there are double sided adhesive tapes used all the time in the trophy business to stick brass name plates to wood or laminate surfaces.  this should do the trick-

visit your local trophy shop and talk to them about a little tape.

i use contact cement for just about everything..  scratch up the brass with sandpaper,  clean with laquer thinner and glue up as normal.  if you can cover the edges with a molding so the edges are held in place all the better.  it will last for years.
